For the sites I normally frequent, the ads are all around the content. I’m pretty good about ignoring them.

I have pop-up blocker to ignore the rest.

At least I can say this about the web. There are some sites that offer ad-free presentation if you pay them money. This makes them far more reputable than cable providers who claimed, when they were trying to get FCC approval back in the 1960’s. “Since you’re paying for it, the programs will be ad-free.”

I can honestly say that I have never bought anything as a result of an ad. If I want something, I will go on line and research it. I am now looking at an ad for a blu ray player I bought last week. How many of these things do they think I need?

Y’know, as long as the ad changeouts were quick and quiet, I think I’d probably take that deal…

But – WOW! Is it hard to fall asleep on the couch now!

LOL!!! Now for tomorrow’s panel do one for the car warrantee folks.

I’d hate to see what you would have to agree to to end spam calls.

I’m surprised it’s a poster, “paste-up” type billboard that needs to be lit – an LED version would be quick-change!
