William Tell made overtures to Newton, but he didn’t understand the gravity of the situation.

As I suspected, William Tell the folk hero pre-dates Newton the very well self-documented person by a couple of centuries.

An arrow a day keeps the theories away.

Now Newton will have to see his doctor. (I wonder how many generations away is Jimmy Neutron?)

William didn’t tell. So it was new to Mr. Newton.
