Lets face it, Bradley is a sap, just like Frank. In time you would think Brad will finally grow up and see TJ for what he is but for now he is just Smiley’s lackey. Kind of like a less intelligent Cameron Frye playing second fiddle to a Ferris Beuller wanna-be who does not have a cute gal like Mia Sara in his life. In fact does Smiley ever have a romance??
TJ is an Ahole, but he didn’t force Brad to do anything. At his age if he can’t think for himself and make good decisions for himself like not listening to his friend to do stupid things like steal from a vending machine when the friend is not beside him doing the deed together, maybe he should just stay in bed all day where he can’t hurt himself or others.
In Middle School (Jr High back then) we had quite a few screw-ups. Lack of impulse control at 12 or 13. In HS there were a few of them the first year, but by the 10th grade there were practically none to be found. Most dropped out by age 15.
