This reminds me of an NCIS episode I saw several years back. The NCIS crew had their smartphones compromised and had to resort to some old school burner phones (like circa 2000 or so) for a case. The female agent, Ellie Bishop looked at hers and said, “Um this thing only has room for 10 or 12 numbers, what do we do for our other contacts?” Agent in charge Gibbs answered (without blinking an eye) “I have the numbers memorized.” Made me think of how many phone numbers I actually had memorized back in the day, not just my house landline and my cell but others as well (family, friends, work, pizza delivery, landlord, etc) and of course everyone had that little book by the landline with all the important numbers listed in alphabetical order. Another thing this made me think of was the Seinfeld episode centered around Jerry’s girlfriend’s speed dial and how one’s social/relationship status was reflected on which number you were given if you were assigned one at all.

Am I the only one that checked the release date? Technology’s time flies, doesn’t it?

What was the context for what Bernice is wearing? Was she working at some mall store? I’m old and forgetful.
