Luann: Mom just told me to tell you to grab your car keys right now and take me to get my ears pierced. Dad: Mom left two hours ago to go shopping. Luann: Right! I knew that! Shopping. Right. Luann: Ok- I remember what it was. She meant to tell me before she left, but she forgot... Dad: uh huh. Nice try. Bernice: Well? did it work? Luann: Let's go ask your parents if they'll adopt me.
So, to get her ears pierced, she has to go through surgery to actually get ears?
