diane: well, brad, did you enjoy your first opera experience? brad: hey, it was great! awesome sound system. and the seats were really comfy diane: most people find theater to be quite ameliorating. brad: yes. very amal-amin-yes. diane: i feel that the delectation of a fine opera such as 'madame butterfly' is enhanced by a subsequent analysis. brad: ah! quite so. yes. diane: so-shall we engage in some post-theater confabulation? brad: whoa! make-out lane, here we come!!
I guess Greg chose to drop Diane’s verbosity later on, because you don’t see her using big words that she knows are going to go over Brad’s head.
