brad: stupid rag's way over there luann: uh oh. did the mighty bradmobile throw a manifold or pop a pully or somethin'? brad: nope. everything's fine luann: then why have you been out here working on it for the past three hours? brad: because i'm doing the same thing you do when you wander around the mall all day. or when mom moves the furniture around. or when dad looks at his collection of beatles stuff. brad: i'm not really doing anything. there's no purpose here, no big plan. i'm just doing. luann: it's life, luann. we each have our own way of living it. for me, this is life. luann: oh. luann: well, if this is life, i'd hate to see what death is.
