Luann: I'll be in the fashion show, Delta-but not as a model. No modeling for me. Delta: Ok, Luann. Want to be my assistant? I Sure could use one. Luann: you probably need models, but I could never get up on a runway. Besides, who wants to look at me? Delta: True. So how 'bout being my- Luann: I mean, I can be quite glamorous if I want to, but probably not glamorous enough, right? Delta: Right. So I'll put you down as production assistant. Luann: oh, all right! I'll model if you insist! Delta: Too late.
This is not reverse psychology. It’s Luann being oblivious.
