Luann: My "important inventors" report is on Otto Titzling. Luann: Mr. Titzling invented the bra. he made the first one in 1912 for a singer named swanhilda calfsen. Luann: In 1930, Phillipe De Brassiere, a frenchman, copied Titzling's design and began a successful bra business. Luann: titzling sued but lost 'cuz he'd never patented his bra.
