In the car, Brad asks Luann "Nervous about the talent show?" Luann replies, "Yeah, but also confident." Frank says to Luann, "Good! That's what this is all about: building self-esteem!" As Luann and Puddles head backstage, Frank yells "Good luck, Sweetie! Brad yells, "Break a paw!" Nancy reads the show's program schedule and says, "Here's Luann: Act 19, Puddles the Awesome!! (with Louellen)." Franks says, "Lou Ellen?" Brad replies, "There goes the ol' self-esteem."
