Luann by Greg Evans and Karen Evans for September 22, 2000
Transcript:
Luann and Tiffany are dressing in the locker room. Tiffany brushes her hair, while Luann has a towel on her head. Tiffany says, "Did it ever occur to you that maybe I was only PRETENDING to drown?" Luann replies, "Psh. Right. Why would you do THAT?" Tiffany puts her fingers under Luann's chin, saying, "Luann, Luann. You are SO dense in the ways of womanhood. Perhaps some day you'll grow up." Tiffany is gone, but Luann rips the wet towel off her head and yells after her, "HEY! Maybe I was only pretending to SAVE you!!"
if you were only pretending to drown tiff, then that was EXTREMELY mean to do.
Life’s really important, and when you take something serious like drowning and turn it into something you gain from, you are the boy (or in this case, girl) that cried wolf.
You keep doing it, eventually no one will come for you when you really need it
