Luann by Greg Evans and Karen Evans for November 04, 2006
Transcript:
"You have given me some wise words, Delta, and you know what? You're right! I'm stupid to waste my life obsessing over Aaron Hill." "What does it matter if he likes me or thinks of me or adores me or totally forgets me and loves another girl?" "...So what if I don't see him...or hear from him...ever again..." "More wise words! Stat!" "Uh...Worthwhile interests! Um...Self-respect!!"
The problem was that for Luann, Aaron Hill became a symbol. For a relationship, romance, glamour, adulthood. Her green light as it were. But as the same with Gatsby, that green light is out of reach, but Luann can’t let it go as it means letting go the thing that drove her.
