Gunther says, "Thanks for coming over and helping, Luann." Luann says, "I like being useful. I like getting things done. I even like doing laundry." Luann says, "How weird. Those are all things I don't like at home." Gunther says, "Wonder why you like 'em here?" Luann says, "I dunno..." Gunther says, "Me either..."
Luann is starting to realize something she never really gave much thought to before. Household chores are things people don’t like to do at home, but when you’re away from home and with somebody you care about, you don’t mind doing them as much. She is realizing that the same situation is now different somehow, but she hasn’t quite put 2 and 2 together yet.
