Luann by Greg Evans and Karen Evans for March 01, 2010
Transcript:
Luann says, "You ok, Gunth? You look glum" Gunther says, "Just? you kissing Quill? it's? I dunno" Luann says, "Hey, it's a play. We're characters. It's all pretend" Gunther says, "Is it? Pretend kisses are still kisses" Luann says, "Gunther, listen. I like you and Quill just the same, ok?" Gunther says, "You've known me since first grade. You've known him a few months. And you like us the same?"
Just because you’ve known someone for a long time doesn’t mean they’re more important to you than a friend you haven’t had as long. Gunther’s problem is that he makes the mistake of assuming that because he’s been in the same class as Luann for years, he’s more “entitled” to her affection than other guys even though, they really don’t know each other that well.
