Glad to see Delta take over for Bernice – maybe she’ll be less critical. More positive.

Geez, Delta.
Any MORE “positive support” and you’re gonna be WEARING that soda…..,

Delta just deals in reality, kindly. Move on, Luann!

Luann seems pretty confidant. Delta’s ’cold water" seems to be having little if any effect. Is such confidence warranted?

LUANN needs to be distracted. Get her a new guy!

Finally! We’re spared any more scenes with the self-absorbed one.

You can’t be serious. Delta always has had a personality, a deep and balanced one. She’s the yardstick against which the others are measured, usually. Don’t confuse maladjustment with personality, please.

So why are they at Wenie World. Figured they’d boycott the place by now

Look, the next time you have an urge to walk around the house saying somebody’s name…DON’T. That’s how it starts. It’s really self-induced.
Or if you WANT to be besotted…do the opposite…

Delta is a confident young woman and gives good advise wether Luann wants to hear it or not. Bernice on the other hand strikes me as having self esteem issues which she hides behind a smart ass attitude.

the study of Anatomy is the study of everything under the skin blood, guts, liver, etc,, the study of morphology is the study of the form and structure including aspects of the outward appearance

“it IS kinda odd how much Quill remains in the discussion after he has left the strip. Is is Evans’ rambling, or?”-People don’t have to always be physically present to affect our lives. Nor is everyone instantly forgotten, especially when communications keep people mentally as close as if they were in the same room.-What? You thought she just wanted him for his body?

Interesting that Evans has never given Delta any kind of relationship outside of associating with ‘the group’, Luann and Bernice, in the main. Also interesting, that within the time period Quill was around the group, he showed no tendency to be so shallow as to only be interested in the physical aspect of girls, explaining his disdain for Tiffany’s shallowness. So how does Evans put those words in Delta’s mouth? I’m reminded of a comedy routine by D.L. Hughley, where he explains that every woman has a friend who hates men, can’t keep a man, and is quick to tell the woman you are in a relationship what a bum you are, that you’re no better than all the other men. Please, Evans, don’t do this to a character like Delta. What you had her say in this strip is the exact opposite of what Quill would do. No, I don’t mean to say he’d walk around with blinders on, but to suggest he’d be out chasing tail is too much.
