TJ’s gonna quit without telling Ann his secret recipe. Sales will plummet. Ann will be sent back to Japan.

Yeah, but TJ did learn a valuable lesson. If you can lose it, someone will take it away. However, Ann is also about to learn a lesson about keeping her word. Woohoo! We’re in for a ride folks!

She quadrulped sales TODAY…with TJ’s help. I still think this is a setup. When he doesn’t cooperate and doesn’t have his friends come in, she’s going to be in deep doo doo with corporate….

Curious to see how the Ann Apologists will rationalise her dishonourable behaviour.

I recall TJ has his own money – doesn’t have to have this job. TJ should push his chips “all in” and say to Ann, “Do you really think you can keep up this volume without me?” If AE says “Yes,” TJ should just walk and watch the ship sink.

I’m still trying to figure out how on earth TJ’s so-called “genius” idea would have drawn in that many customers. “Hey, everyone! That fast food joint has cheap tropical decorations and is offering hot dogs skewered with toothpicks and covered in plain noodles and permanent marker! Let’s go!”

Like numerous other commenters, I think TJ has in traditional “good guy” fashion given Annie a chance to repent, and now that she has tossed it in the dust, spit on it, and mocked it, he will play out his hand. Annie is about to learn a lesson!

I don’t understand Ann’s angle on this. Why wouldn’t she want TJ to be Assistant Manager? It’s just more responsibilites for him, and his pay raise (if any) wouldn’t come out of her pocket. The only thing I can think of is this is her way of ‘getting even’ for all the times he messed with her, and sadly I think this is going to backfire on her big time.

She has said that if the plan did not worh she would blame TJ now she can’t blame him when sales fall. Anyone else noticed that all of the customers were friends of TJ. Ann is about to get what she deserves, TJ is a man who doesn’t play .

Many years ago I had a boss tell me, “If it isn’t in writing, it doesn’t exist.”

I believe this is all part of TJ’s plan. Look at the people who increased the sales. They were all of the people who were important to Luann. Even that big bruiser who does not like bullies and walked out when Ann was bullying someone was there. Ann should have known something was up. Any good con has to have the mark believe she is in for a big pay. Then when she realizes she has been conned, it will be too late. I can hardly wait to see how this plays out.

Maybe TJ has a recording of what she said.

Apparently one in four CEOs display sociopathic tendencies, so having somebody at a managerial level with that kind of behavior is hardly surprising. However, TJ was always going to make Ann realize that abusing good employees would come back to bite her, provided that she actually did abuse good employees.

TJ could probably sell sulfur in Hell, though, so maybe the stupid tropical decorations and summer-themed stuff actually did work. More likely that TJ just told everybody to come to Weenie World at the same time. The other fast food joints in town were probably ticked.

….andddd…are we about to learn that TJ’s actually the owner of Weenie World and that’s where he gets his money?

“revenge is a dish best served cold” – Annie has employed that advice by waiting to avenge herself of all TJ’s demeaning past ploys and remarks. However, she must now wait for the other shoe to drop, for no discerning woman should expect TJ to take this lying down. He don’t need no written statement to get HIS revenge. If she indeed called Corporate to brag, Annie has made her mistake, a big one – now only time will tell before she suffers for it.

TJ still has something up his sleeve..and though it might be voice recorder I would bet on something a bit more conniving and devious and far less obvious.Might even be that TJ shows her that HE holds the title to the franchise…or??? Best part of this is that is fun to follow!

Wasnt the original storyline going to be where TJ was going to get back at Anne for her mistreatment of Brad? Looks like she just got him bad.

I agree with Feye. D-Day is on its way. Before this was a fun mission. Now its Blitzkrieg with the Luftwaffe. TJ’s a’comin through, and little missy ain’t gonna see it coming… but her perfect hair-do is going to get a re-do with doo-doo.

After watching Judge Judy with exactly this type of problem, I get everything in writing!!!

Next week we learn that this has been a set up from Day 1. Anne is going to be humiliated as never before. Corporate will come to visit an empty store. Sales quadrupled because of the advance work that sneaky devil TJ did. Remember him saying “Takes one to know one”

Really, does anybody exist who actually thought the lovely Ann would honor her word? -Do any of you think TJ thought she would.-So now we are left to watch and see how he was using that knowledge in his unending quest for TRUTH, JUSTICE AND THE AMERICAN WAY..

It seems the consensus here is that TJ is going to torpedo Ann. I’d say that I have to agree. TJ has murder (figuratively speaking) in his eyes in that last panel.

The reason it succeeded is not the idea, but the relationships. Those were ALL TJ’s relationships—his community, his family. Ann, as I said, just messed with the wrong person.

I think TJ has been increasing sales out of his own pocket, with his mysterious wealth. That is how he is doing his upsells by sending in people he has already arranged sales with. I think he is setting Ann up for a big fall. Time will tell.

Anne can’t be a worthy villain if she’s foiled all the time. And TJ learned a valuable lesson about playing on someone else’s home field.

I do wonder…since TJ does have access to money of whose origens he once told Brad, “Don’t Ask.” and that it was “Mostly legal.” has he plans to take over WW to not only avenge Brad AND have a money laundering operation. TJ’s history will be an interesting set of threads for Mr. Evans’s fabric.C.

Can’t help but wonder what she’d do if TJ smirked when she said the final comment. Could have really troubled her in her quiet, alone moments. “What’s he planning, now?”

Even if the worst were to happen and AE got canned, she’d manage to come out smelling like a rose. They all do! They’re survivors! First level management is always the most ruthless. Usually the pay increase is more substantial than at any other time till upper, upper management. The TJ’s of the world are typically discounted as a dime a dozen, believe it or not. AE will make sure he doesn’t work in the industry again…..unless he DOES have relatives financing a ff business. However, if TJ does manage to get even with her now, she’ll probably lose the luster on her rising star quite rapidly.
