Transcript:
Mom: "You know we're traveling to aunt Vicki's for thanksgiving, right?" Luann: "Yeah" Luann: "Hey! Two colleges I like are near her! I could visit them while you visit her!" Mom: "You're visiting aunt Vicki with US, Luann. Besides, schools will be closed" Luann: "That's ok! I could check out the local clubs and malls!" Mom: "My. Your argument is getting SO persuasive"
Wow, TG day with Aunt Vicky…. long time readers know about AV, but, for those of you who haven’t read Luann from the beginning, Aunt Vicky is that relative of indeterminate age (from 45-100), who never had kids & who pinches cheeks and comments on how much the kids have grown, all while smearing them with lipstick… we ALL have Aunt Vickys in our past, and we wish they would leave us alone, until they pass away; then, we miss them. (My Aunt Vicky was my Dad’s Aunt Rose, a sweet old woman that I never appreciated, until she was gone)
