Quill: Your parents asked me to produce a grand opening show! You could do set de- Luann: Quill! What about our new york trip?! Quill: We can postpone. We have to help your parents, Luann. This is their big dream. They've worked hard. Luann: What about my big dream? All my work? Quill: You've booked flights and rooms? Luann: Almost! I've worked hard thinking about it!
Everyone immediately jumps on Luann for being self-centered. Gee, like that is a big surprise with a teenager slowly growing into a young adult!! Lets see how this arc works out before jumping to conclusions about her, or about the relationship. I think the relationship will weather any issue, and somehow both things will occur eventually, New York, and the theater. I suggest withholding judgment. After all the strip is about Luann and Luannverse.
