I’ve been wanting to see Delta for a long time now. Of course, when it happens, it has to be a flashback! Shouldn’t she at least call her old friends sometime, or vice versa?

Wish I had the New Year’s Eve flu; I’d have to miss work to which they called me (Sunday is supposed to be one of my days off).

I’m right there with you, kids – getting over a (mercifully mild) flu myself!

Hey, different New Year’s Eves. Won’t always be a blast. Sometimes, it’ll be a whimper.

One thing that sucks about NYE is that there’s no sleeping through the night, no matter how desperately you need to.

If the cold comes on suddenly and it feels like it is a hangover, go to a clinic and get the rapid flu diagnostic. If it is positive, there are prescription drugs that will stop the flu’s progress and allow you to start recovering immediately.

Why not just get a flu shot?It’s cheap(or free),and so darn easy!

I HATE being down sick on a holiday. Nothing like blowing a paid day-off in bed and NO SEX!

That looks more like a cold than the flu, with the tissue boxes. When I have the flu I definitely don’t fiddle with cell phones! The Y2K flu (early 2000) had me sitting in a living room chair for three or four days, bundled in a winter coat, and drinking water from a glass beside me whenever I regained consciousness. I wasn’t even 50 then!

Ahhh, You ladies are probably much SAFER at Home this New Years Anyway.

Personally I am kind of scared that my body may be trying hard to fight off the flu. Well if it happens at least I am on break. No money, but I can lay in bed. Have the TV droning away, a magazine not read, room swirling around, wife checking in every now and then so its not too bad. I am strong constitutionally, but some people are not, so to them, and to all I wish a happy, and safe new year. Lets pray on 2018 people.

Nice comic for NYE! It is unfortunate about the flu and sniffles, but it does happen, and they will be ok.

Her is my wish to everyone… I hope all of you, my comics friends have a very safe and festive NYE and a very wonderful 2018! Even though I have not yet started to indulge, I metaphorically raise my glass to you in a toast for happiness and good cheer, kindness and love in your families, and fun and thought provoking creativity for all of you in this upcoming year!
