Marcus: I think one of the things that makes America so great is the way we hate. Think about it in comparison to how people hate everywhere else... Palestinians vs. Jews... Arabs vs. Persians.... Japanese vs. Chinese... Sunni vs. Shiite... Tutsi vs. Hutu... for most Americans, these groups are virtually indistinguishable. Here, in the States, we like to keep it simple... it's just a matter of black, white and brown. If you come to the States as an outsider, our differences are easier to see. This allows a person to quickly assimilate and begin directing his hatred toward the appropriate group. Anton: I'm not entirely certain you're being sarcastic. Marcus: Me neither...
