When I was a kid I always thought the day after Halloween should be a day off so you could stay out later trick-or-treating and sleep in the next morning.
They may not start until after 7 here (and I normally go up to bed by 8) When Cuddles was still living I did it big (sat out in the front yard the full time with her in costume and gave out full size chocolate bars) but since I’m no longer entertaining my own baby I’d really not bother. The costumes they wear do not impress me and I’d rather just give treats to kids here in our own neighborhood. The mask in this avatar has long since been lost to moths (but I still have all the layers of costume), imortalized in my “Chagall” (painted in his style of allegory- using the Chicago fire and Phoenix bird for color). I have planty of feathers for another mask, but would like to try in longer lasting leather instead of papier mache.

Save time on getting ready. Go to school in your costume so you can hit the trick-or-treat trail as soon as the school bell rings.
