Those Great Dane tails are almost lethal weapons when they get all wound up with happiness and enthusiasm. And can they ever clean everything off of the coffe table! Be ready to pick up the pieces.

But, oh my gosh, aren’t they wonderful and loveable and fun to be with. Wish I still had my Tarn of LadyDane. She was a gentle giant.

<<<< You see Pickle Dog here. Well when I get home from work he barks while wagging his tail. Its like he’s saying" Where have you been, what time do you call this, there’s a dog here who needs feeding". But its a warm welcome all the same.

@gmartin You are right. Still I have never gotten sick from puppy kisses although I have enjoyed them countless times.

One the other hand, I can’t imagine being kissed by a lot of people I see who have filthy, yellow, crud encrusted teeth, obviously operating a serious “germ factory” in their mouths. YUCK!

Yet they, and I include here some friends and few relatives, who in spite of the condition of their mouths and teeth never fail to attempt to “plant one” on me when we meet.

Maybe so, but I like them to lick. Besides, their tongues really have something on them that kill germs. That’s why they lick their wounds if they are hurt.
