Great Danes, Labs, Pit Bulls, any short haired dog, really – a joy to dry off after getting in water. (Labs have water resistant coats, don’t ya know! And webbed paws!) But a German Shepherd? I can use 4 or 5 towels and never get that monster dry… he soaks up water like a sponge. Double coat… (like a husky…)
