Afghanistan may be a third World War zone, but they are surpassing America in a lot of ways. Their construction efforts make us look downright lazy. Even dilapidated shacks are outfitted with environmentally friendly lightbulbs... And Afghans walk around texting all day on cheap cell phones. Salesman: Phone cards! Their drivers talk on their phones more than Americans do... Sitar ring tone. Man: Ah, it is my SECOND wife now who call! Even on a 12,000 ft. mountain pass with no guardrail. Man: Can you call them back later?! We still have them beat on road safety.
