Brings back a strange memory — When my Dad’s Alzheimer’s was really bad and they had him on the wrong meds, I got a call like that. I had to go “talk him down” from jumping off a “cliff” into the “ocean”, to escape Major League Baseball, which was trying to control his mind.He was actually standing on a low garden bench in a little patio at the hospital, screaming if anyone approached, and they were afraid he’d fall. He’d run away from a baseball game on the large screen TV in the patient lounge area.He did get into a better state of mind not long after that, and was much happier for the final 5 years of his life === but at that time it was all very real to him.
