    For everyone who commented yesterday…

    @Shyygirl27 – You send me your ID, I’ll send you mine.

    @lightenup – It’s more complicated than I can tell you. The Spike Lee version is that I’ve never been loved all my life.

    @Logical – I’m not condescending, I’m exasperated. I’m sick of the promiscuous generation of teens and tweens I was born into.

    @olddog1 – I might be one-third your age, but I had a rough life and I’ve experienced economic racism. I know how far human cruelty can go. So don’t try to think that age means wisdom and experience. The Buddha declared that a young man can be wiser than his elders. And many times in my life, that was true.

    @Linda Dean – Both my grandfathers are dead and so are most of my great-uncles. The rest of my great-uncles are still married with children and grandchildren. Sorry to disappoint.

    kafka, sorry you mistook my attempts at observation (not necessarily wisdom) and humor. You may be the only one who’s ever had a rough life, but don’t mistake thin skin for sensitivity.

    History shows warmer is good, colder is bad. Meantime, the satellite data has shown no warming for — what, 10, 11 years now? How many times must the dishonesty of Al Gore and the IPCC be exposed?

    pschearer – Let’s say you’ve got a cold. And I say that you haven’t sneezed in the last five minutes so it means you’re not sick… That’s exactly what you are doing. We are talking about world warming over a century, not over a few year. And by the way you are wrong, the world is warming. Even the Bekerley Earth Project had to admit as much.

    … re: global warming …I don’t care whether it’s true or not … what bothers me is what some people want to do about it …“The operation was a success, but the patient is dead.”

    Time will tell, time will tell. Meantime, I repeat, history shows warmer is good, colder is bad.

    Those who don’t believe there is a climate change don’t work outdoors. We who do know of climate change through years of experience not because someone says.

    Please people. Climate change is real, it’s begun, and there’s nothing we’re going to do about it. Fossil Fuel marketing has won. You can stop arguing about it. Climate change is the next generation’s problem.

    Climate change, both short term fluctuations and long term trends have been occuring since the world began. Man had nothing to do with these changes, and there is nothing that man can do now to reverse any current short term blips that may be happening. (Ever heard of the ice ages) Statistics can be found to support any stance that you might have on this subject. The current craze over global warming is fueled by politics and the greed of those who have a financial stake in the trumped up climate change scare.

    The only reason for any doubt about climate change is that certain very large corporations (not just BP, etc.) are owned by interests who want to make more money NOW by not doing anything to protect the environment from their despoiling activities..Citizens who naively buy their “funded studies” are simply dupes.

    There are many dupes… Don’t be one. Please

    @LDover

    It is not just those whose intentions appear to be anti-environmental. There is an equal amount of greed on both sides of the equation. A lot of pockets are being lined in the name of environmental consciousness, starting with Al Gore and reaching all the way to cases like the Solyndra scandal and friends of the left like Soros and Buffett who are profiting from oil indirectly, aided by U.S. policies.

    pschearer: It is? Come around here when it is 110F – the record is 113 and unlike central AZ, we have 60+ relative humidity. Deserts around the world are growing. If you don’t like cold where you are, move, but stop trying to destroy the planet for your personal comfort.
