She sounds like a few of my coworkers. In the past week I’ve read a bit over 3 books (I read on lunch too) and one made the comment that she hadn’t finished a book in months. I just smiled at her, “I’m SO sorry”. I then overheard her talking about 4 different tv shows she’s watched the evening before. I can’t even tell you the last time I turned my tv on.
I’m a reader too and don’t understand people who don’t read but different strokes for different folks I guess. I’m not into a lot of the things they are.
Actually, I just finished Dance with Dragons by George R Martin than read 2 books of the Dresden files by Jim Butcher and finished The Select by F. Paul Wilson last night.
From the Wikipedia page:“On September 29, 2012 John Forgetta announced that he could no longer afford to continue with the comic and would no longer produce new ones. He left the final story arc as a cliff-hanger and stated, on his blog, that he hopes to reactivate the strip in the future. The strip continues to appear as re-runs.”.From the blog entry of October 11, 2012:“If you’re new to the strip or even if you’ve been a loyal reader for several years, you will enjoy Classic “Lila’s” because they are being updated to hopefully be funnier and more contemporary.”.So, the author is re-running the series but tweaking individual strips.

What does she think about men who read comics?

Now I pity her.KeepKeeper, it seems she doesn’t have a brain to control her mouth. But I’ll admit it’s not like I haven’t stuck my foot in mine.

I’ve just realized, the thought of a real relationship scares Lila. Luckily Annie will eventually come along and help her move past this fear… ; ))
