When I was a kid, it was always lots of Our Father & Hail Mary’s!!
All I can hear is
“Did you want confession?”
“Well, maybe later, Father. ‘Cause where I am going, I’d just have to come right back.”
Wondering if how many kids made up sins to shock the priest. I would for fun. Until my Dad busted me for it.
Same as “Why didn’t that person go up for Holy Communion!?!” (Judge not, lest ye be judged).
Next: “Nobody expects the Mexikid Inquisition!”
The point is to acknowledge your failings and spend some time thinking about them. Even priests go to confession.
