. . . I joined the Army to see the World . . . and was issued a husband! That was 48 years ago, this year! I guess, that we’re “lifers”! We did get to live in Europe for four years and with G. I. Bill benefits, I earned my BS and MS! It sure beats being a waitress in a small town! :)
I have not been paying attention. These ’word of the day gags go on for a week. The quotes featured in the newspaper the cook is holding—in the past have they all been from the same person, like the H L Mencken this week?
