My professional life has always been a combination of WFH and working in the public eye. I to a greater or lesser degree enjoyed both but in all honesty, preferred working alone from my home office whenever possible.
For many years, I arranged my career so that I worked late at night to the early morning because I could get twice the work accomplished in the solitude of the wee hours between midnight and six as my coworkers could get done slaving 9 to 5. The sign in my office at work said, “WARNING! Does NOT Play Well With Others!”
