Water or fruit juice is better than coffee for sustained energy production. Get up about once and hour, walk to a window and look out at the daylight (hint – we evolved outside and not in caves) – focus on something further away than your computer screen.
Personally, I get up at 5 AM and work out. By 10 PM, I can’t stay awake and I fall asleep instantly. Most nights, I “pull an all nighter” – I don’t get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. I’m 69.
