    As an adult, I hated that program, however I liked the message and how it was delivered. I’m glad my kids watched it.

    I never figured out what Mr. Rogers did for a living: I think it was putting on his sneakers and buttoning his cardigan.

    A thoroughly nice person who left a tradition of manners and thoughtful behavior toward others to generations, and whose legacy is being nastily reinterpreted by moderns, few of whom practice either.

    Mr Rogers could be dorky and cool at the same time. Julia Child was the only other person who could do that.
