Last time we flew She booked with Frontier for the “low fares”. Yep, the fares were low – but that just lets you to the next page on the site. Then you pay for your seat, you, pay to select your seat (or let them assign it, and board last), you pay for your checked bag, you pay for your carry-on, you pay to check in; once on, you pay for your pretzels, you pay for your water – for what it could cost us, we could have flown on a real airline (which still sucks these days). Dern near could have gone 1st class…….
I am in favor of a federal law banning more than 2 seats in a row, and requiring at least 24" of seat width and 3’ of leg room. And at least 1 free checked bag (yeah, I’m old enough to remember when a coach ticket got you a comfortable seat, 2 checked bags, 2 drinks, and a meal. And, if I’m to be perfectly honest, I miss the attractive young women to pamper you, too :)).
