Drones will lead to property right issues. Does a property owner own the airspace above his property? and to what altitude? Airplanes fly over my property frequently, but according to FAA regulations they need to be at least 500 feet over my house or person.
Since my municipality forbids the discharge of firearms within the city limit without permit, I cannot shoot down the drones that invade my airspace.
However, could I erect a jammer that would mess up their electronics and cause them to crash. I guess I’ll have to work that one out with the FCC.
