Condolences

When my 3 & 4 year old grandsons returned home after their 10 day Christmas visit, my wife and I both had Post/Two/Sons/Disorder.

Lots of that going around, especially in the last 2 years.

My wife is a nurse. She’s not to high on WebMD. She has patients calling her up all the time saying, “I think I have .” Normally, it turns out to be something a lot more benign after she interviews the patients.

I printed out a Minions poster for her. It says, “I went on the web because I had a mild headache and in three clicks, I was clinically dead.”

Incurable.

And you feel like you’re on your last legs.

Someone said that exact same thing on Facebook the other day. Think they were sharing a meme.

It turns out aging has many of the symptoms of every major disease and medical condition. It makes it hard to “pass” those COVID entrance questionnaires. I always have everything except fever. :) :(

The suffering can last about 20 years

When you have kids and grandkids, you have a more complicated life. Try to enjoy them if you can stand the noise level!

Every symptom I put into the search on WebMd has come back as possible cancer so I no longer rely on their symptom checker and let the real doctors do their tests .
