Oh don’t get me started on that. I bought a used car from a dealer…Long story short, everything was fine except two weeks later I began noticing a funny smell in the car. The previous owner must’ve been a smoker. PHEW, it took forever for that smell to go away!! And YES, I tried all the gimmicks on the market.

Depends. Any child or cat barf in the joint of the seat? Why do I get th scent of pepper spray – police impound sale? The engine purrs like a kitten – except I haven’t turned on the ignition yet. H-m-m-m I’ll think about this for a bit – like about a year.

Ah yes, the unsavory mix of stale cigarettes and two or more scented ‘air fresheners’ hanging from the mirror. Make you feel like your still in high school.

Found the old registration for our ‘new’ used van; it was owned by a funeral home. The first road trip we took it on was sadly ironic; out for my fathers funeral.

The Napa store near where I lived used to sell used car smell aerosol to mess with your friends.

Ozone generator. Cleared out odors in two vehicles, so far. Use it too much, though and it’ll destroy the plastics.

In many ways, it beats that new-car smell eau de carcinogen .
