Don’t even try to blame this on Ukraine. They’ve been going up since whoever’s actually pulling the strings and running the current administration started playing around with the gas and oil supply and printing funny money.

Typical of news tv’s sensational approach. Show the odd, not the average.

My first job was pumping gas at my dad’s full service gas station in the 70s

We had guys that came in every couple of days for $2 worth of gas

I’ve been dropping $20 every 2 or 3 days lately

In Europe those prices were the normal prices before the prices started going up. Now they are almost double that.

The average U.S. gas price is $4.634 (I’m paying $3.859).

FOX News would have you believe that the United States has the highest gas prices in the world.

Let’s look at some of the countries where gas prices are cheaper: Venezuela $0.095, Iran $0.194, Iraq $1.945, Russia $2.046, Saudi Arabia $2.351, Afghanistan $3.336, Mongolia $3.784 and Ghana $4.307. I don’t know about you, but I don’t plan on taking my summer vacation in any of these places.

Now let’s look at some other countries: Japan $5.199, Poland $5.838, Australia $5.862, New Zealand $7.407, Spain $7.587, Italy $7.607, U.K $8.095, France $8.259, Germany $8.608 and Netherlands $9.527. When you look at these prices, you might not want to blame Biden for the prices in the U.S.

Every few weeks the grocery store where I shop offers gas gift cards for 20% off, with a $50 purchase (a threshold that gets easier to meet by the day). I now have 5 in my wallet.

If you figure in inflation & average fuel economy, gas is less now than it was in the ’70s.

Here in Kern county CA we used to produce 90% of production in CA. Currently the state is not permitting new wells or maintenance (meaning that they will become inoperable and never be restored)of existing wells. Meanwhile we are importing oil from elsewhere at increasing cost and pollution. filled up yesterday and price was $6.6
