Companies have dropped most of the early advertising icons in an attempt to escape stereotyping. Trouble is, so they also have lowered the quality of the goods those icons sold so well.

Maybe I should post some of my recipes online with my picture.

I would not put my picture on anything I tried to sell.

It’s nothing short of a miracle that they let me back in the country with my passport. Police do double takes when they pull me over and look at my license. Every morning I look in the mirror and say, “That can’t be right. I have to reboot this thing.”

Often, but in contrast, you know it’s not good when the first 5 star comment is “I made this for my husband and he loved it.” What else would he say? I go by “While cooking this dish, my dog wouldn’t leave the kitchen.”

Although not listed, the original recipe included Grandma’s teeth that fell in the batter.

First, it’s probably just a stock photo. Second, that’s not true. We just tried a lemon cake that had such a photo on the recipe but the cake came out like a brick. Several people had the same comment.
