The Mermaid restaurant & bar & bowling alley in Mounds View, MN, used to have a 30 foot topless mermaid over the front door. Removed in 2018 because it was deemed “structurally unsafe”.
Little Mermaid II Return to the Sea. One of the many reasons that John Lasseter, on being named Chief Creative Officer in the merged Disney-Pixar organization, declared “No more sequels” in regards to Disney animated classics. “Except for those in production.” “Not counting my NASCAR addiction or milking Buzz and Woody for all we can.” But no more direct to DVD and streaming sequels. Unless they have no more ideas.
A local restaurant has a photorealistic mermaid logo. It’s unique in being “woman” all the way down to her knees. It’s a little weird but you don’t notice the first time you see it.
