We have a big wicker basket we keep cat toys in (sorta). I’ve watched them climb into the basket hunt around and then come out with a particular toy.
The number of cat toys I have is ridiculous.
The good thing about cat toys vs. baby toys is that cat toys tend to be much softer to step on at night in an unlit room.
Son’s cat plays with some toys but they get left in corners. Cat prefers a box or a big paper bag more than the toys.
Cats predecessors must be spinning in their graves seeing how such an independent creature has been bred down to crap in a box and fart at will. With toys.
…or my cats.
Just caught a mouse leaving its “toys” everywhere!
Probably because they spoil the dog more than the kid.
My dog apparently hated that his toys were kept in a toybox – every time we put them away, he would remove them one by one.
