My wife and I are both retired in the sense that the work that we do is not for pay. My wife is a deacon in the Episcopal Church. It sucks because it ties up the weekend so we can’t do things with our non-retired friends. She does get one weekend a month off.
So Sunday is our Monday.
Also, we don’t get to visit the grandkids for Christmas or Easter when they are out of school. As you can imagine, it’s “all hands on deck” for clergy during those seasons.
