That feeling alternates by the hour

With me it’s abbreviations, or as a technical term, initialisms. I just got used to LOL, and now they have a new one, IJBOL, I Just Busted Out Laughing. To me, the I and J are a given, resulting in BOL. Not any better IMHO. Why not leave it as it was, LOL?

Ok, feeling much better now.

The comparisons, like finding out Star Wars is closer to the Marx Bros’ Horse Feathers than today.

I only look in the mirror to shave. Why else at 79?

I know I am old, and so is my reflection in the mirror.

I talked to my grandson yesterday. Using the slang we used in grade school. The look on is face was priceless………

I think all this new fangled jargon is the bees’ knees.

The worst is seeing the reflection of some old guy in a store window, then realizing it’s actually me!

Abandoning the kids is frowned upon, but it is ok to break the mirror.

Nothing wrong with older. Stop buying into the ageism.

Go with the mirror. The slang will change faster.
