A more colloquial “ire ad Infernum” would be “e Orco” (imprecating it Old Style). So, Young Master is feeling his oats and stooping to a life of petty crime, ehh? It’s time for you, as his Gentleman’s Gentleman, to intervene, Jarvis!

Sedgwick failed Latin. The “quibus” thing is meaningless. "Go to hell should be “I ad infernum,” or “Vade ad infernum.” Pop quiz next class.

Sedgwick’s new crowd is definitely leading him down the wrong path. Neither “quibus” nor “nutrieat” are proper forms of their root words in any case, tense, or mood; and the correct command form of “ire” is either “i” (you [singlar] go) or “ite” (you [plural] go), so it should be “i ad infernum” or “ite ad infernum”.

Thanks for that, Old Man. I hadn’t heard that since my far distant childhood.

Hint for anyone needing help with it: the first line is pronounced “Oh, see, Billy! See ’er go!”.

I’m going to say Quibus Nutrieat means Bearded Bastards, not because I have any authority on the matter, but because it makes sense to me.

The Sedgwick bits are usually pretty boring, but this new crowd he’s hanging with may change that. I hope.
