This may sound crazy, but maybe we stumbled upon some ancient technology from the lost city of Atlantis! Not to sound crazy. Perfectly reasonable hypothesis... He finally finds the perfect friend, but he's on the other side of the world and can only be reached through a magic seashell... You really think so?
China may not quite be the Antipodes to where Monty is, but this has a distinct science-fiction feel that somehow calls to mind the ilk of Jules Verne and Edgar Allan Poe. How many Monty’s make a paradox? Just a pair?
