Wait, tricky Dick! Don’t forget to tell him how bad the communists are! Anyone cavorting with communists should be jailed! You were staunchly anti-communist!
Hmm.. what’s the artist’s political bent again? ;-) Nixon looks like he should be holding a sign on the median at a nearby major intersection, with that stubble… :P
He NEVER said that he line-votes, Nixon! (Personal gripe: I consider not learning about the candidates and issues to be lazy, and while learning sometimes results in-line voting those years are not common. Automatic line-voting is just plain lazy and unrealistic; voting is NOT a" rah-rah, team" situation but rather one that affects the futures of those we love and our own futures.)
Yes, Clayusmcret, I agree. People who do not bother to learn the issues, do not use the fact checking sites to find out which advertisements and claims are false, or don’t even bother to vote are NOT carrying their own weight. (On that score, thank you for your service, too.)
Here in NJ for one of the national offices I have seen one of the most INaccurate and truly dirty series of campaign ads I have ever encountered in my life, and I will be in my 70s in a few years. Fact checking is sooo useful. My favorite is
Nixon’s spirit must be laughin it’s ass off at the hundreds of millions of dollars californian democrats are dumping into other states elections instead of the poor in their own state. And then they write it off as tax deductions which deprive CA of much needed bucks for state programs.

Votes have consequences. Not voting has more. If you don’t vote and it goes the other way than you had hoped, you deserve what you get.

Moonie is a Republican! Don’t hassle him too much, Richard! His vote is precious and needs gentle urging, not an off-putting super-Hard Sell…..
