That might be an interesting combination. Leave the weapons from Clue scattered on the Monopoly board. If you land on a space with a weapon you can buy it for $100 or let it sit. All the money goes into the center of the board and the one who solves the mystery first gets the money. This is based on my observation that you can finish a game of Clue in about an hour and the average game of Monopoly lasts many moons…

We always played with any piece that would fit on the board

Mostly toys; Matchbox cars, little dinosaurs and such

Playing Monopoly with weapons sounds so much more interesting.

“You landed on my monopolistic Utilities system. Pay me a fortune!”

“I take out my monkey wrench and adjust your attitude…”

“Okay, roll both dice to see the amount of damage inflicted, and then pick an attorney card to see if you score a ‘Get out of Jail’ card. But it won’t be free.”

Dueling pistol?! Monty must have some updated PC version of Clue. In my day, and in the game set I have, there is an M1911 model .45 pistol….

Except for the game sold in Germany. It comes with a teeny-tiny Walther PPK. Shaken. Not stirred.
