Ah Pac-Man. I was never that good at it but it was fun. I loved asteroids.

90% of our gift giving is stuff my wife crocheted. It’s what keeps her mostly sane. The kiddies love the stuffed animals and colorful blankets. Our son-in-law dutifully wore the hat she made for him, at least while he was here.

I remember that the Asteroids game came out after the asteroids field scene in the movie, “The Empire Strikes Back”. I could be mistaken.

I always get the words “balaclava” and “baklava” confused…

My favorite arcade video game was “Defender”. The sound effects were so cool! I wasn’t that young though – I turned 21 the year “Defender” came out. I’d like to know just how much money I spent playing that game.

Retro gaming is a thing. I still like to play the oldies (both arcade and early consoles), long live MAME!

Grandmothers know how to give thoughtful gifts, she probably grew up in the depression, maybe didn’t even have electricity.

I often get appreciative comments on my Animal Crossing tote bag from younger generation checkout folks.

I almost never played Arcade Games at the Arcade, but I did play many “Clones” (with different names), on the PC. “Space Invaders”, “Pac-Man”, “Centipede”, “Asteroids”, “Frogger”, “Dig-Dug”, “Defender”, “Zaxxon”, “Galaxian”, and others I can’t remember…
