What is spike ball? Doesn’t sound like something for the kids.

Should try a round of indoor lawn darts

Spike ball? I know spiked bowl.

Pickle Ball over the kitchen island?

Wait a minute, Monty is on to something…

I can see it now, Giant Umbrellas on cable TV ads. Along side the fish oil pills, copper sox and Panda Pillows.

Spikeball? Meh – be real men! Nothing like indoor lawn darts!

When you yearn for the beach, you yearn. I spent a month in Pasadena, TX, which is on Galveston Bay. After a few weeks there, I told my boss I had to go the beach. On the way to work we drove to the bay. There was a sandy beach about the size of a football field. For several minutes, I watched the two-inch “surf” crash onto the beach. “Ok, I’m good. Let’s go.” That had to do until I got back to Morro Bay, CA. :)

We sure could use some of that rain here in southeast Texas. It is broiling here and the drought is brutal. Some comedian said that the trees are whistling for the dogs to come pee on them.

That’s gonna leave a mark. :)

Monty and Moondog are still “little boys” enough to enjoy this beach fantasy. But I, too, have no familiarity with a game called “spike ball” that seems to include use of a mini-trampoline….
