Isn’t that nice? They gave the little twerp a participation trophy and a certificate. When he is older and goes off to college he’ll probably get another….it’s already bought and paid for!/s

The one thing he was good at was the Sailor’s Hitch. After meeting Sedgie, several sailors are now walking with a hitch… ☺

Trophies and awards rarely mean anything amongst children today. Wouldn’t want to teach them to be competive and strive to excel…

Little Master takes solace, maybe even pleasure, in a participation trophy (as Sail Camp clears out their junk) and a “yup, he was there” certificate. Nevermind that “gibberish” about Lack of Seamanship Knowledge or Skills….
