My health insurance was very much like that until I could not pay for it anymore.
But now if I get sick I can go to emergency since I don’t have any money it will be paid by the tax payers.
SIMON An earache is traumatic? I live next to a hospital and the ER is packed. I make an appointment with my doctor for Tuesday at 1pm, but if I was entitled and other peoples health premiums were paying, I could go to ER now for free. I know walking through the ER’s doors is going to cost me $600-1000 because my insurance companies are no dummies and are not going to pay ER rates for something that could be handled at a doctor’s office.
I hope you are ready to wait several months before seeing a specialist, be told at the last minute that your surgery was cancelled, due to a shortage of nurses, or be parked in a hallway on a gurney due to a lack of bed space on the floors (caused by a shortage of nurses). Oh and by the way, “free” healthcare is not free, since it is paid by your taxes.

A Dr. will see you 2 weeks from next Tuesday, the E. R. in just a few hours.
